The third meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Nagoya Protocol on access and benefit-sharing (ABS) of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) is expected to address, among others, issues related to compliance, a global multilateral benefit-sharing mechanism, the ABS clearing-house, and monitoring and reporting, and will exchange views on the state of implementation of the Protocol, and on sectoral and cross-sectoral model contractual clauses, codes of conduct and guidelines. more...
