Kapuas Hulu Regency
Kapuas Hulu Regency (Kabupaten) is in West Kalimantan Province. It is located at 0.5oLU – 1.40oN and 114.4o – 114.100o E covering an area of 31,162.75 km2. The Kapuas Hulu Regency was established based on Law (Undang-undang Darurat) Number 3, year 1953 with capital city Putussibau. The regency is bordered by :
In the North: Sarawak (Malaysia Timur)
In the South: Sintang Regency and Central Kalimantan Province
In the West: Sintang Regency
In the East: East Kalimantan Province and Central Kalimantan Province
