Rio+20 Dialogues
Over the month of May 2012, participants took part in a unique opportunity to highlight the contribution forests make to sustainable development through the Rio+20 Sustainable Development Dialogues.
The Dialogues were an initiative of the Government of Brazil to provide an online tool for civil society to discuss ten key issues related to sustainable development. Three recommendations were chosen per theme and conveyed directly to the Heads of State gathering in the High-Level Segment of Rio+20. See the results of the public vote here.
