Research questions
The governance team designed an open-ended questionnaire based on three main research questions, concurrent sub-questions and relevant indicators. The research questions were decided during a two-day workshop and were the result of extensive discussions between and within the teams (social science, RS/GIS, database and statistics) involved in the PMRV project. The three main research questions drive the activities of both the healthcare and forestry database teams. They are:
- How can existing systems in Indonesia that include (P)MRV be relevant for PMRV in the context of REDD+?
- What is the existing approach to verify or validate credibility of MRV data?
- How can we use perceptions from the various actors to inform about the robustness of current MRV systems?
